Milestone in Singapore shipping history – AirFish8-001 officially registered as a ship in the Singapore Registry of Ships Mar 2010
A milestone was achieved in Singapore shipping history as AirFish8-001 becomes the first Wing-In-Ground effect (WIG) craft to be registered in the Singapore Registry of Ships by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
Wigetworks Pte Ltd, a Singapore registered company and owner of the AirFish8-001 WIG craft, has formally registered AirFish 8-001 as a Singapore registered ship on 30 Mar 10 under the The Merchant Shipping Act (Chapter 179).
